In Vieste, small medieval village and symbol of the National Park of Gargano. For the last years Vieste received repeatedly the “Blue, Flag”, an important award by the Foundation for Environmental Education for the cleanliness and the excellence of its sea-water, awarded. Our little paradise on earth boasts a wide variety of touristic, natural and cultural attractions. An excursion on a mountain bike or on a Quad in the nearby “Foresta Umbra”, for example,or a peaceful horse riding among vineyard, ancient olive trees and pine forests, out of the beaten tracks, reaching the “Masserie” (traditional farms), a still active peasant culture. A cruise on a Hydrofoil to the famous Tremiti islands or a night spent beneath the starry vault of heaven, fishing on a “Trabucco”, ancient fishing structures, characteristic from Gargano, that survived centuries of exposure to the sea. A lesson of Windsurf or Kitesurf, trying to surf our crystalline sea, stroked by a gentle wind or a quiet, romantic dinner for two, or with your family, immersed in the delicate and suggestive atmosphere of a small restaurant at sunset, caressed by the sound of the sea. Last but not least, obviously, the simplicity of a quiet day at the beach, deservedly, doing nothing at all.
